About Me
About Me
I have loved jewelry from a very young age. As a child I went to the Philadelphia Art Museum frequently, also many other curated art shows. My mother was an artist as was my grandfather and great grandfather. My great grand father actually built carriages for the king and queen in Italy, winning several awards for his unique craftmanship.
When I was 16, I worked in a jewelry boutique, it was there that I believe I developed my own style. The jewelry was very unique and one of a kind. Also, very rustic. the jewelry cam from all over the world, which at that time was unusual. I also have a strong love for southwestern jewelry .and the people who create it. Their jewelry tells a story. At the age of 28, I began jewelry classes. I apprenticed for several years. There came a time in my life where it became very dark. Jewelry eventually led me to light where I then began to create and heal. There is something about creating nothing into something that gives you a sense of control and power you never thought you had.
Each piece I design I hope to touch someone as the ability to create jewelry touched me.
